Rich Internet Applications

Web technologies have progressed rapidly over the last few years, to the point now where consumers can interact seamlessly with internet applications that have the features and functionality of traditional desktop applications. A new term, Rich Internet Application (“RIA”) describes an application that combines rich media, such as video and audio with web technologies to create powerful tools that can be accessed anywhere.
