Touchy-screeny

Our latest touchscreen installation launched in April - the ekworks centre, based in East Kilbride, is a brand new initiative designed to help local people gain access to local job vacancies. We developed a content-managed touchscreen application that allows passers-by to browse the very latest job vacancies, watch success stories and even apply using the 'virtual keyboard'.

ekworks staff control the job vacancy and video content, while the application itself reports back on user activity. Additionally, we developed an online version of the touchscreen so website visitors can interact from the comfort of their home.

Newsletter Management

As part of the first phase of the BarrowlandBallet project, we developed a content-management-system for the existing website, which included a fantastic newsletter manager.

The new website launched last week with a stunning design which incorporates the eight National Youth Orchestras of Scotland and features videos of performances by the orchestras.

eCommerce++

1st December, 2009

Contracted by FlintRiver, we developed and deployed a Content-Managed eCommerce website for Cambridge Nutritional Sciences Ltd (CNS). Online shoppers can purchase a variety of food intolerance self-test kits, while Practitioners can order kits for their clients. The website actually doubles as a client management system for Practitioners, facilitating client/sample and food test tracking.

The products themselves are proving extremely popular, and can be of real benefit to those seeking answers to ill health. But don't take our word for it - just ask former Cold Feet star Fay Ripley:

CNS staff have full control over website content, including product and Practitioner management. We will continue to host, support, maintain and enhance the CNS website over the coming months and years.

stARTworks

stARTworks is an exciting South Lanarkshire based initiative, blending employability and creative training for people over 18 who have been unemployed for more than six months. Participants are encouraged to get creative while receiving support to boost their job-search skills.

A funky site with the focus on disseminating information via news stories and online video. Like so many others, this website features a bespoke Content-Management-System.

St Margaret of Scotland Hospice

Following on from the touchscreen installations in Glasgow last month, the website has now been published. Website visitors can watch video, request prayers and create memorial pages which appear on the website and the touchscreens.

All media services on the touchscreens inside the hospice and on the website are centrally managed: allowing full control. Visit the website by clicking here.

Oh yes, plenty people are touching our screens at St. Margaret of Scotland Hospice, Glasgow. Installation in the new History Room & main foyer has been completed, with the software developed in-house allowing members of the public to listen to audio interviews, see the history of the hospice and watch videos.

Of course the touchscreens are networked, allowing the content to be managed by the hospice staff. No piccies of the screens in action yet, but you can watch the main video about the hospice by clicking below (recommended fullscreen):
